My Team: B2G
(Better 2Gether)
Hi, I’m Marlynne Stutzman, and I’m proud to be part of Team B2G, which stands for Better 2Gether. This team is all about community, inclusion, and helping athletes of all abilities reach their goals. We train together, race together, and support each other every step of the way. For me, B2G isn’t just a team—it’s a family that believes we’re stronger when we work together.
Highlights with Team B2G
Living with autism and dyslexia has taught me how to overcome challenges, and endurance sports have become my way of proving that nothing can hold me back. When I joined Team B2G, I found coaches and teammates who believed in me and gave me the guidance I needed to succeed.
In 2023, Coaches KC and Jerome trained me for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, and KC guided me through that incredible race. It was one of the biggest moments of my life.
In 2024, I raced again with Team B2G at Ironman 70.3 Florida, where I had the honor of being guided by Gabrielle Suver, a professional triathlete and a close friend of my coaches.
In 2025, KC guided me for the Escape from Alcatraz Swim, which was an unforgettable experience. Later that year, B2G teammate Corey Carruth guided me at Ironman 70.3 Florida, and I earned a 20-minute personal record for that distance! These moments remind me why I love this sport and this team so much.
Why B2G Matters to Me
This team is a community where differences are celebrated, and everyone is encouraged to push beyond limits. Training and racing with B2G has helped me grow as an athlete and as a person. Together, we show the world that inclusion in sport isn’t just important—it’s powerful. One of the most meaningful things for me is knowing that my joy for the sport and my dedication to training have inspired my teammates—many of whom are neurotypical. They’ve told me that seeing my focus and love for racing reminds them why they started this journey too. That makes me proud because it shows that inclusion doesn’t just help athletes like me—it strengthens the entire team.
